The Hypnotic Gems® brand of Premium Blue Agate Bookends start with only a high grade agate from a specific mine that we have partnered with in Brazil. This agate for each set of book ends is carefully selected for quality and then hand cut and the faces polished to expose the beauty of the agate. When you order you will receive one pair of these spectacular agate book ends which are similar to the book ends shown in our images. Because each piece starts with a completely natural earth mined agate nodule which is dyed to add color every piece is special and unique and no two are exactly alike. There will be variences in patterns and color shades from blues to purples in the pieces you receive, and while they will look similar to our images they will not be exactly the same as the bookends pictured.
Please note that the average weight per set with our medium size bookends is 9-11 pounds and these are designed to handle medium books. They will not work well for extremely large books but are perfect to decorate the room while holding a medium number of average size books in place.
